Alas, Ron, What am I missing? I still can't find your gallery. The Link below the image only takes me to Minolta images....not your Minolta images.

Help?

Have uploaded 3 more shots in "The Offbeat" gallery, Traveller. Kind of de-mystifies the whole thing. I'll leave them there for about a week before deleting. They aren't especially good.

Traveller,
This is not real blood and I'm sorry if I've given that impression. I put "blood" in quotes to indicate it was representational but probably wasn't explicit enough. Real blood would smell awful, clot, and be a health risk. It was water and dye of some sort. Everybody can relax now. There are no other shots of this posted though I have a side on view I could work up. Just click on my name to get to my galleries and this one is in "The Offbeat"

Dear Ron: Could you post a link to your web site? However, knowing that this is real blood makes my skin crawl a bit also...still, I'd like to see further examples. Best Wishes, Traveller

Oh my goodness. It grabs and repulses all at the same time. What a powerful image. There is no possibility of missing which expression you had in mind. Regards Nico

Traveller,
This was strictly an opportunistic "point the camera and shoot" photograph. It was part of a multi-media presentation on AIDS and the grand finale was to be the presenter stipped down to white undies sitting in the tub half full of blood. I didn't attend but got the shot when he was setting up. He had the colour just right but the "blood" was bubbling and frothing too much where it was flowing in so he was trying to figure out how to settle down the suds. I had to crop the suds out for more realism. It is posted on my Pbase page as "Dracula's Bath". Thanks for your comment. Ron

Talk about perfect! Could you describe the set up, or how you did this a little? Thanks, traveller
