Yeah... it's really not a great shot. I should have used a larger basket (Longaberger too, of course!! *grin*), but I didn't have enough eggs to fill a larger one and still have the one egg outside the basket. :) ~Lydia

Another nice Longaberger basket for your eggs Lydia? I like the lighting but do agree that some shadowing on the two top eggs for separation would have been nice. They do look like they're about ready to topple out, maybe that's why we're not supposed to put them all in the same basket! :-D CJ

Beautifully shot, Lydia. I'm worried that that top egg is about to fall off! -dtallakson

Oh Nico, I'm thrilled with your words. Always. You're the perfect combination of host and critique. I appreciate hearing things that can help my images... and I was glad to get it this time, too. I was just being silly. Did you see the *grin*?? :) ~Lydia

:-) I'll choose my words more carefully next time, OK? :-) Regards Nico

Thank you, gentlemen.
Michael, this was in a light tent with black posterboard behind. I can't actually remember how the lights ended up... I just moved them and tilted them until I liked the shadows. I know one tri-light was pointing up and the light was bouncing off the interior of the light tent. But, that's the one Nico doesn't like. *grin*
Troy, yes they are brown eggs. The people across the road from us sell them and I hire their son to come each week and put a dozen in our garage refrigerator. They're so much more tasty than store-bought eggs. ~Lydia

Stunning, Lydia! Well composed and lit. Very difficult for me to add any comment about something to do different or to improve. The two eggs on top are quite similar towards the top in terms of colour and illumination, with relatively little to separate the two. Perhaps a slight re-arranged pair of eggs, might have resulted in the two standing out some more? But I confess: this is really digging into minute detail. You can be most pleased with this one. Kind regards Nico

Beautiful lighting Lydia. Do you have fancy lighting equipment? Regards Michael

Very Well Done Lydia. Are the Eggs brown? Another creative piece.

Or as Mark Twain said, "Put all your eggs in one basket and watch that basket."
