OK,OK, I am biased... and I feel slightly guilty for starting the whole grain or not conversation... but I really do prefer the un-grained version! :-) Regards Nico

Lovely colors

Ok... here it is... without the grain.

The water is real water... nothing weird. ~Lydia

Great idea! I like the duck and "water" but the grain seems to make it look a bit too dingy. It might be fun to see this without the grain and with bright, clear, colors. CJ

Another good one, Lydia. I'm guessing that's not water....perhaps syrup of some type? I'm thinking about the grain. On my monitor it has more the appearance of grime. I think I would like it more without the grain. -dtallakson

oops... left out a 'be'. "It seemed to be boring without it." *sigh* Sorry. ~Lydia

Thank you, John. :) Nico, thank you, too... yes I added the grain. It seemed to boring without it. ~Lydia

Very well done! And of course the expression is absolutely totally immediately clear. I like the composition and low-ish point-of-view. Did you add the grainy-ness afterwards? Somehow I am to sure about that aspect, but I know it is rather subjective. Super work! Regards Nico
