What a great shot. I've tried to do a similar shot before but I just could not get it to turn out right. I think it was clever to do it outside and the foil underneath was a stroke of genius. -dtallakson

Thanks Lydia, Traveller, and Pops! Trav, I took this outside (so I could get a fast shutter as I don't have great lighting) with a dark background propped up behind my glass container. Foil wrap under the container reflected light back up to the underside of the lemon. I used the timer on the camera and just kept clicking the shutter and waiting for the right time to drop the lemon - I miss timed the shot MANY times and had to refill my container a few times too as the water went all over! :-D I got rid of the reflection of the yellow lemon in the top splash in PP, but I've seen splash shots that left the reflections in and they still look good. Hope this helps if you decide to try it. Next time I'd use a taller container so the water wouldn't splash all over - mine was only about 10-12 inches tall. CJ
