I have to say that I have a preference for not cropping objects but to show them in their entirety... but I am prepared to put that down to my own "artistic immaturity".
Having said that... I appreciate your intentions here after all it is a "wood" challenge and you have certainly demonstrated 'that' aspect as key focus.
