Good thinking Kiki! If I went the sparrow route, I could have sprinkled some birdseed around! The crimper did crunch that blue connector but the wire does pull the eye out of the frame. Maybe I'll try again sometime with the birdseed. CJ

Yeah.. I was considering whether it reminded of a fish or a bird, I was leaning towards sparrow lol. If you replaced the blue cable thing it with something any of those creatures might chomp on, or perhaps even have it nibble at it, it would underscore a context and aid the viewer to see the resemblance. As is, the cable pulls the viewer back into reality instead, kind of prevents "seeing faces". Anyway.. the metal is definitely nice :)

Thanks Penny and Kiki! I thought the crimper looked a bit like a monster fish and I liked the old worn texture of the metal. CJ

I like the metal and DOF. And the snappy remark lol. And you're right.. live models do tend to help ;)

There is something about this that I like very much - the shapes, the color and the shadows are interesting. But I think you need more in focus (my opinion).

Maybe I should put a frog or newt on it! LOL! CJ

Not as a hostess... but I'm recommending Pending for this one... It's just not exciting enough for me... But I hope someone disagrees... *sigh* ~Lydia
