Thanks Olaf for your comments. I think I've been fascinated with my new light tent and the nearly shadowless images that can be produced using it. Perhaps a shadow would have added to the image. ~dtallakson

While it goes well with "Part of my problem" to explain your problem, this one does not quite reach the same photographic heights, imo. Central composition and flat lighting works against it photographically. Some more directional lighting casting deeper shadows on the nice blue background would make it more interesting, I think.

tv...that's why I do a lot of photography...especially set-up photography...late at night. The family thinks I'm crazy but if they knew I was photographing forks it would just confirm it for them. ;^) ~dtallakson

Why does this make me hungry? Must just be me ;-) Jim H.

I would like to think that the "problem" is the typical photographer's issue of finding art in everyday objects and having to explain to the family and friends. Well done. -tv

All those scratches...looks like someone has ravenously devoured food with this fork. So clever, DT.

His problem is that he can't stop himself from consuming the contents of that lovely metal fridge with this metal fork. At least, if it's anything like my problem, that's what it is! Great shots.

Ok... this is a lovely "Fork on Blue"... but WHAT is your problem? I just can't see it. *sigh* ~Lydia
