I like it, Victor... really, I do.

At 160130 bytes, it's oversized, though... *sigh* ~Lydia

Lydia,

I understand your comment. I guess this photo was just for me. I love this particular location because there is a sidewalk essentially going right down the middle of the freeway. That is a primary point of the photo -- a juxtaposition of nature in the middle of the highway. Note the car going down the freeway. If I had it to do over again, I'd take it during rush hour. Note also the arrow at extreme right. That arrow is for traffic to the right of the camera, directing them onto the freeway. This photo is geotagged, so you can get an aerial view if that helps to conceptualize what I'm talking about.

Perhaps I'll have another go, close-up and in a location more suited to the bear. But that would go into the Eligible gallery. And it would be an entirely different picture.

Adorable, Victor! I wish it were more of a close-up so we could see more of the bear. I don't think the road and bridge add to the scene... It really is adorable, though. ~Lydia

Looks like Paddington Bear, determined to head back to nature :) Convincing "walk posture", as someone already commented.

That would be a pretty small child. That bear is about 10 inches tall. I've had him for about 40 years. -- Victor

Oh I see. I thought that was a child wearing a bear costume :-) Looks pretty real, like he's actually walking.

Yeah, it's not one of the categories mentioned, unless you include "other". One picture consists of me holding the bear. The other picture consists of no bear and no me. I combined the two in order to remove myself from the picture. That bear cannot stand on his own (I hope he's not reading this). -- Victor

It's not obvious how this is a result of multiple shots. Can you explain?

I decided to geotag this photo, so you can get a bird's eye view also, using google earth. -- Victor
