very nicely done, stately and profound. Perfect for August Wilson.

Thanks you guys :-) August Wilson was a great playwright as Michael said and there is a pedestrian path named in his honor that begins at this door and ends at the Intiman Playhouse. Purely just a find on my part and more recently erected than it looks as I pass this way quite often and was startled to see it there for the first time just the other day. I hope this is a permanent display as I really like seeing it there.

Probably not known to many people in the CSLR Challenges, I designed scenery for the theater for about 3 decades in my earlier years. August Wilson is certainly one of the great icons of the American theater and deservedly so, IMHO. Knowing his work, I think he would have liked this image very much. All of that aside, I like the muted tones which make the red door even more extraordinary. I also like the sense of location which makes this doorway even more surreal. I don't know if you found this or created this, but it matters little...it's an extraordinary image either way. -Michael

Interesting Brent - where is this and why is this! The red door really stands out against the snowy background. :-) CJ
