Thanks Melbob and CJ. CJ, I have used a 2x Teleconverter with this lens. If I get a chance I will use it and submit to this challenge this weekend.

Well done Troy! I didn't see the other version but this sure looks good to me. I may have to get that lens as I'd love to try to get shots like this. Have you used a teleconverter with this lens? CJ

Very good Troy, very aggressive look on these guys with that 'beadie' eye. Great bokeh.

I think I would consider cropping about one third of the left to bring the bird onto the Rule of Thirds intersections given that there is not much contribution from that side of the composition. All of the "interest' is to the right of that 'elbow'.

But that is just my opinion Troy. Nice capture ~ Regards Melbob
