Nice image Lonnit. It reminds me with pinhole photography; yours though, based on your description, is not too far from it. I like the effect quite well. Sam Attal
Thank you Nico for your wonderful welcome. :) I'm not familiar with Orton, so I Googled it. No, this isn't a sandwich of one in and one out of focus frame. I am familiar with that technique although I've not done it myself. I do like the results. This is simply shot with a diffusing lens. It's a $50 cheapo piece of plastic that is basically a toilet paper tube made of plastic with a single piece of glass inside it. You pump it in and out to focus - if you can claim that as focused! LOL! I love the effect it gives. I did some PP to bring out the texture in the petal and the sex thing - knowing nothing about plants I've no clue what you call that erect thingy. ;) ~ Lonnit
Wonderful to see you name popping up again, Lonnit! :-) :-)
Tell me more please, about the post-processing: it reminds me a little bit of the "orton" style of processing... but probably much more boldly and intentionally...?
