I thought about cleaning off the table a bit before I started but I wanted the dirty workshop look. It's more evident in the other photos I took but this one really caught my eye. I didn't get many shots with the sparks flying around the wheel like this one. I am pretty happy with it.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm not quite sure what that nail was made of but it was about 8" long when I started. It ended up being about 4" long when I was done shooting. I tried a bolt but it didn't throw as many sparks as the nail did.

Lovely. Good motion and exposure, and plenty of nice sparks!

Looks like some carbon in that steel based on the little explosions at the ends of the sparks.
