Lines, repetition, contrast and selective focus all add up to an eye-catching photograph here. You've captured the light most impressively! I Love the tones too.

Thanks, Sharon and Barry. Barry, I kind of like center framing for symmetrical subjects such as this flower. However, I chose to include the leaf on the left just to keep it from looking too static, realizing that it might also be a distraction. If I can get that lighting again, I may try another shot.

Beautiful. The B/W really lets me appreciate the lovely tones in this image. If I may, the only thing my that's distracting me is the centered composition, maybe just a bit tighter on the framing to move the flower toward the upper right corner?
