Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel lies 280km south of Aswan, still on the shore of Lake Nasser. On the fasade of Ramses II temple, four giant statues sit majastically. The other temple, temple of Hathor, is for Queen Nefertari, Ramses' wife. Both temples have halls with statues and paintings but no photography is allowed.

If you join the tour you have to pay extra fee to visit Abu Simbel.
