Hi Jon. I get asked that question quite a lot. All I can say is that I move slowly and I don't bother to try to chase a dragonfly. I usually try to find their favourite perching places and just wait for them to rest between flights when they're hunting , or in the case of males, defending their territory. Also, as I work very quickly, I don't have to spend much time setting up for a shot. Thanks for your comment on this and the other dragonflies!
