A late medieval Hall House; the central part with vertical barred window being full height and originally having a hearth at the centre of the room. Probably the kitchen to the right separated from the hall by the 'screens passage' from the doorway, with the 2 storey 'solar' or private quarters to the left. Unfortunately not open to the public
