Holy Island, east shore

one minute you are looking at a load of seaweed on the foreshore, then it starts hopping about with a dozen of these enigmatic little blighters with so many variations in plumage

Beautiful portrait that shows its pretty plumage very well. Amazed that it allowed you to be close. I find them very skittish.
