These are mostly taken along the Mill River, which rises somewhere in Ipswich and joins the Kirton Brook at Newbourne before discharging into the River Deben. It feeds a chain of reservoirs and pools some still in use by the large scale farms, some allowed to revert to nature. It is a local record, for summer 2015 and the quality that I can achieve with the Nikon 1 inch sensor (1/2.7 ref 35mm) and general purpose tele lenses, no macro available, but some quasi-macro using canon 500D close-up lens wedged into hood of 70-300 - for classy shots with some overlap see https://pbase.com/tojor/dragon_and_damselflies_2014 .
