Broad-Winged Hawk in Vermont

Have been seeing this hawk every day for about a week, in the same 1/4 mile area. (Aug. 3 through 8 '07) There might be more than one. It is often on the ground, and tolerates photographs. It calls from the trees often.

UPDATE: There were several of these hawks in the same area- 2- maybe 3. My husband got some excellent photos as well, which I have added to the list.
