Honeysuckle

One of my fondest childhood memories is waking to the scent of the honeysuckle coming through the windows.

Wonderful to see you! Lovely image and poem. I use to chew on the honeysuckle flowers when I was a kid...lol! ~Meg

Perfect poem for the lovely photograph. You're not the only one that forgets stuff. We all do it now and then. Good to see you Ann. --skunk

Yes, I really meant to put a drop shadow on it but right in the middle of doing it, FedEx came to the door and when I came back I forgot it. Old age, you know. When I was in radiation therapy for a cancer on my lip for a couple of months I was scared stiff and would think of the honeysuckle smell to calm down. I use White Shoulders bath powder as it is the closest to that odor I can find.
Thanks for the comments.

So nice to see one from you! I agree with Laurie--a lovely image and sentiment. I also agree that a slight drop shadow for the text would be an enhancement. And yes, it is a scent equaled only by that of lilacs.

Nice idea and image - I might add a slight grey drop shadow to the type so it would cross the withe blossems better.
I loved Honeysuckle, too - had it everywhere "up North"
