Cybergrannie

Rebirth

Used Skunk's burned greenhouse skeleton--Tim's portrait piece, Laurie's field (desaturated), and a picture of a cactus fence with layer mask. The frame was a complex project involving a blurred/spattered edge, a dark stroke just outside the blur, with a PS style applied.

Sky and I would argue about frames. She hated them. Always thought I shouldn't use one.
But this image has a multitude of frames, frames inside of frames, frames cut off by frames ...
Question here is whether the frame style fits with the image. It should be a supporting actor, not a sore thumb. >PaulJSvBFCM

Yes, I agree about the frame--it was a tough decision--maybe I should just go back to my current style with slightly torn edges--or maybe eliminate the frame part and just go with the soft edge...?

A bit of a sad story in this one, Almita - the charred remains of a fire, a looming dark backdrop, and the memory of what could have been - very nice image. On the frame... in this instance, I think it detracts more than it adds, I'm afraid. Just extending the burnt skeleton could be an alternative, perhaps? /Tormod
