This is so beautiful and touching, and is a tribute to your ability to place your departed friend in the position he so obviously occupied as a friend and inspiration.

thank you again -- it is so nice to hear from folks who find meaning in an image like this. there most-certainly is an energy connected to the loss of our friend dale unruh. if you care to look at his gallery of marvelous washington state landscapes, please do. you will see his last image of trees and a setting sun....you will not see a reply from but you will see some wonderful comments under the image and in his guestbook. shu

Someone's friend has the shaman's vision. I see the ghosts of trees and rocks in the background. Uncreated, coming into being or fading, like memory?
Very good. >PaulJSvBFCM

Very evocative. I like the texture and coloring. It's like a mezzotint print. -Alcina

I am so sorry for your loss. This is a beautiful spiritual piece. There is such silence here. The picnic table is empty, the swing is not moving. The quiet atmosphere seems to contain an unseen energy. Powerful.
