Fertility

We just got CS5 and I had to play with it - I tried the puppet warp and the mixer brush - without knowing what I'm doing - Mike signed up for Lynda.com and we have ordered a book - so for now ???? whatever ?
The plant with roots is one I had photographed in a transparent vase a while back.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Strange and interesting things happen when you just jump in and play. Good call on getting the extra training. I'm doing the same thing currently, and I learn lots of things I did not have a clue about earlier. Also, getting a good coverage of the tools is real helpful, knowing how to exploit their potential can make life much easier. Love the colors and contrasts in this image! /Tormod

This is a really interesting image. The story about the statue by Rodin is that unbeknownst to Rodin, the model was pregnant and as he worked, her shape kept changing. Eventually she quit modeling because she was getting too cold. Thanks for posting this. For a critique, my impression is that the background blue doesn't quite jive with the main image. But on the other hand, I love the line and shapes the face makes on the left side of the statue. I think this was a real challenge putting this image together. When I upgrade to CS-5, I know where to go for advice.
