I like the dark, moodiness of this image. Just a thought, the white shapes on the scarf seem a tad overly white & don't match the overall tone, to me, but great concept.
This is so poignant. I just lost my old dog Harley (incidentally, the den-mate of this one), and I have this picture in my head of Harley and Piglet waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. This reminds me of the story of Greyfriars Bobby. He was a terrier who waited every day for years at his master's grave. When he died, the town erected a monument to his fidelity.

If you look closely in the background, you'll see the original "angel with dirty knees". LOL!! This is the cemetery where the picture was taken. All I did was put in the new angel and the dog, then added a couple of textures.
It looks so natural, that it could have been an actual photograph. As I look a the original, it seems that you added a different set of trees in the background or maybe a different shot. Good idea. Regardless its a good image but a sad tale.
