SILO No.1

Near Dubbo, NSW

A great Australian photographer, Max Dupain photographed grain silos situate at Pyrmont, NSW in 1950. Times have changed since the 50's and silos now come in all shapes and sizes. Concrete is no longer the predominant building material.

Silos have been constructed throughout Australia's grain belt and these are some of them.
