These magnificent instruments under construction are on display at the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery until the 7th March 2015. I had the opportunity to speak with David Hart, the master violin maker whose work is on display. He gave me a detailed description of the lengthy and intricate crafting process, including the sources of the required timber.
