I discovered this site almost two years ago and even then I had to read nasty comments on Robert's looks. Okay, he's not ageing well, but why talk about it? It's cruel and pointless. Nobody deserves to be mocked for the way they look, and least of all Robert, who gave us so much joy with his music. And I'm not talking about you, Joe. Your egg is the cutest thing. It's tender. But I'm sad at the thought Robert might read those nasty things. Don't you know he might suffer like anybody else? Do people think he's happy seeing he gains weight and loses hair? And what if he has health problems? People, we've got to tell him we love him for the emotions he keeps on giving us and that we care for him.

I think you and your wife did a very good job. I must say I agree with one of the people that commented, Why would someone who doesn't like the band be on a site dedicated to the band? I guess there' s no accounting for taste. I have been enjoying the cure's music for over twenty years and I will continue to do so for many years to come.

As far as Robert's looks go, eventually he will be dead and be ashes or whatever he chooses, which I suppose would not make a very good 8X10 glossy, but his music will live on forever. Sad, some only see the outside of the book...

It always amazes me after all these years that a selection of dickheads seem to take some sort of sick pleasure in taking the piss out of a man with so much raw talent and ability to provide so many people such enjoyment, that if they had one ounce of the sense they were born with in their tiny little minds, that they'd think long and hard about what they say before they said it... You just remind me so much of the lyrics from shiver and shake....though you probably don't even know what they are....why not play it really loud and see just what you are!!!

My wife and I created something that was meant to be a tribute to Robert and expresses our love of The Cure. Some people took the opporunity to once again make comments about Robert's looks and that is unfortunate.

Wow. Reading all these comments made me realize why I got into The Cure so long ago. To avoid critical people who just look at things how they are on the outside. I'm sorry but whatever you think about Robert is secondhand to the fact that he has been making music for the past 25+ years. Even if he looked like (insert hot guys name here) he would still be nothing without the music he makes. I believe this is the point he has been trying to get across for years now. Even though I think he is a handsome man a lot of people don't. But those same people never debate me on the passion of The Cures music.

No one said he was bald, but like many men approaching 50, the hair is thinning rapidly. And that bald spot is getting larger everyday. He really is a mess and is not aging well at all. On the other hand, look at Simon. The guy really knows how to take care of himself and looks like he's 25-30.

Robert isnt bald nor is he as fat as you think he is.Robert has always had a high hair line & big forehead & if you go back and look at "IN OrANge" when he shaved his head you will see that his hair line is the same as it is now.Robert is looking better these days,but his Vocals,Guitar playing,and makeing sounds and an album that sound like nobody but THEcuRE ARE NUMBER#1.

Close, but the egg isn't fat enough, the egg isn't losing it's hair and the egg doesn't look like a haggard old queen. And one other thing...the egg's guitar looks 100 times better than the real UltraCure...probably sounds better too.
