In this photo the UZI zoom is at full telephoto with the C-210 lens installed, resulting in 19X magnification. Even the best lens will have trouble capturing a sharp image when shooting over a hot and humid field as in this photo. The image is distorted due to humidity in the air and heat waves rising off of the field. The heat or humidity waves in the air results in visible ripples that can be seen most clearly at the window mullions and ridges in the metal roof.
