Our second morning in San Francisco we woke up at 6:30AM to the incredibly loud noise of a helicopter. It kept getting louder and louder until I leaped out of bed and ran to the balcony doors expecting to see a helicopter about to crash into the side of the hotel. What I found instead was this helicopter which proceeded to lift 5 large palm trees off of a truck in the street and up onto the swimming pool deck of the hotel tower East of our room. It was so entertaining to watch and photograph that I forget all about the rude awakening.
