Comparison of Optical Zoom, Digital Zoom and Software Photo Scaling to determine which produces the best quality images. Before performing this exercise I believed that the Digital Zoom feature of the camera wasn't worth using, assuming that one could always get the same results later using digital photo editing software to enlarge the photo. These photo's illustrate that while Digital Zoom is no where near the quality of an optically enlarged image, it is better then what I was able to accomplish using Photoshop Elements scaling to enlarge the image.
