I was given your email address by Doug Knipe who we have rented a condo from in Cozumel for a few years and he asked us to drop you a line. We highly recommend their place (Diamond K ). It’s a bit off the beaten track (one mile from ocean) which allows you to feel like you are actually in Mexico...and Doug and Terry make every effort to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The apartments are modern, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need for eating, etc. The area is safe and close to big stores for stocking up fridge,etc. They have a beautiful large pool, and all grounds are as well beautifully maintained. For us it was a great intro to the "ins and outs" of Cozumel and Mexico, as Doug and Terry help with anything that comes up or know where to direct you, and that is sometimes invaluable in a foreign country.

“We stayed at Doug and Terry's place on Cozumel for 6 nights and loved the island and their place. The accommodations are exactly as described and in a good neighborhood. Everything is modern, clean and works well and the pool is great. Doug was very helpful and an excellent source of information about the island and how to travel in Mexico. He picked us up and dropped off us off at the ferry and helped us find good restaurants, grocery stores and specialty items, e.g. a coffee roasting shop where we ended up with 2 kg of fantastic coffee beans to take back home with us! The staff who work for Doug and Terry are sweet and hard-working. We enjoyed a lot of laughs and Gabi was very helpful and supportive as we worked on our beginner's Spanish. "They made me feel really at a 5 star! apartment equipped with everything! luxury kitchen, luxury oven until kitchenware were perfect, Doug and Terry can not do enough for their guests, Doug does not stop until you are sure you have everything you need. We are friends and for that reason will return one day to Villa Diamond, From my travels for over 12 countries in Europe never treated me so well as here. Doug and Terry already part of my life, I love them !! Excellent place to go diving, Doug led us to one of the best teachers Cozumel Dive !! "

This was my first extended stay (4 weeks) in Cozumel. Terry and Doug are great hosts and made me feel right at home. Their nightly round table discussions on the patio were alway fun and lively. I only gave Villa Diamond K four stars (I am a tough grader) for two reasons. First, while the apartment was clean, well equipped, very attractive and the bed was very comfortable, the shower faucet leaked for the entire 4 weeks. The shower itself was great-plenty of hot water but it was a minor annoyance to hear the dripping. The second is the location is a bit far away for the center of town (20 minute walk). That being said, Doug would drive you in at the drop of a hat and he provided me with a bicycle whenever I wanted.

Second year with Doug and Terry Knipe. last year was a week, this year 2 months. Next year who knows all winter!! You wont find better people to stay with. weather a couple days or an extended stay. Always willing to help, need a ride, diving, grocery store, Dougs always willing to help out. Apartments are cleaned everyday, have all the pots, pans all new appliances everything you need. nice pool. . Found me a second home!!
