The Beautiful South

I didn't know it at the time, but this was the last time I'd ever see my favorite band in concert.
They announced their break-up about two months later.

They played a solid, professional show this night, but in retrospect there was a feeling
that they were distracted and already sort of "not there."

This was the fourth time I'd seen them, and while one or two of their shows rank in the top 5 best concerts
I've ever been to, this one fell into the category of definitely worth going to and above average,
but it couldn't touch their other shows.

I'm glad I got at least one live snap of them.
