In like a Lion?
Day 179

Holy crud.
I don't know where October went, but it's definitely November now!

Here's a picture of this same tree just 5 days ago: http://www.pbase.com/image/35603522

And yes, it's just as cold and miserable as it looks.
I wish I had a better picture than this, but it really was raining when I took this, after I took this, and it's still raining now plus it's even darker.
It's hard to focus in low light when you're getting cold and wet and you're worried about the camera and...
Call me a wimp.
Whatever.

Hey, at least you can get rain drops :(
Agree, your garden looks great. Gives me the impetus to get mine in shape. Maybe next week.

I feel your pain. Quite mild with light drizzle here.

My favorite kind of weather, cold and rainy....good book, fire in the wood stove...we are finally supposed to get a bit cooler tonight. Can't wait. Hard to believe that is the same tree. I really like the photo.

Wow, that tree is pretty much stripped bare. I must be an odd ball (don't say, 'Duh!' LOL), becasue I love cold rainy days. Agreed, though, they do suck for being out with the camera!

This is very pretty, but it does look a bit cold and wet!

Not only is it November, but soon it will be the holidays. Everyone got their shopping done? heh heh... (PS: Good picture!)

.... aaannddd, now you know why I fled when I did....can't stand the cold and damp; and the leaves generally just blow off in the first good wind and rain. On the other hand, when the days are endlessly bright and sunny and I want nothing more than some dark day to curl up and hibernate, Florida is not that place. I think it's why I feel full of energy, but needing to wind down... no, you're not a whiney wimp; you're just cold and tired... flee....

Amazing change eh, Carmen? I noticed that all it took was one or two days of high wind and horrible rain and everything looked bare and destitute. Long long winter to come.. (have I made you feel more wimpy?)...:D.. I'm a big sucky-baby when it comes to the cold, wet and well, cold.
