This is Harold. He was found in April when he was just an acorn with about a one-inch sprout peeking out. I think he is a White Oak, but I'm not sure.

I took him home and settled him in a little container of damp shavings; you can see his baby picture here: Harold

I planted him yesterday evening and he spent his first night outside all by himself. Just wanted to check on him this morning and see how he was doing...
