This started as a doodle in High School while sitting in the hallway waiting for the teacher to unlock the door to the art room, which was relegated to a dingy wing at the back of the school, across from the auto and shop class rooms. It's drawn on a plain piece of gray stationary paper in blue ink. I ended up entering it in the district art show and it won (if I remember correctly) third prize in some category or other.
