All I know is that at 7 a.m. our train car going into the city was rattling
with two synced speakers alternately blasting out rap music, Steve Goodman's
Go Cubs Go!,
and various remixes of Go Cubs Go!, and the aisle was packed with drinking
teenagers, with the ones right near my seat not-so-surreptitiously smoking weed.
:-\
My main complaint is that their choice of liquor was n-n-nasty.
(But still, it was the closest I've ever gotten to going to College...)
I didn't go down to Grant Park, where there was probably more of that, but I was quite content
to just watch the parade further up north, then escape the majority of the crowds down the back streets.
Where I was, someone climbed a tree briefly to take a selfie near the old water tower, but
that was really about as crazy as it got near me.
Sorry to be boring. ;-P
