Halcyon smyrnesis fusca - West-India and Sri Lanka;
Halcyon smyrnesis saturatior - Andaman Islands;
Halcyon smyrnesis perpulchra - Myanmar to Malay Peninsula and Indochina;
Halcyon smyrnesis fokiensis - South- and East-China, Hainan and Taiwan.
