Treron calvus calvus - East-Nigeria and Principé Island to Northeast-Congo and North-Angola;
Treron calvus sharpei - Sierra Leone to South-Nigeria and North-Cameroon;
Treron calvus nudirostris - Senegal to Gambia and Guinea-Bissau;
Treron calvus poensis - Bioko Island (Gulf of Guinea);
Treron calvus uellensis - South-Sudan, North-Congo and Uganda;
Treron calvus brevicera - Southwest-Ethiopia to North-Tanzania east of the Rift Valley;
Treron calvus salvadorii - East-Congo, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi;
Treron calvus granviki - West-Kenya and Northwest-Tanzania;
Treron calvus wakefieldii - Coastal Kenya and North-Tanzania;
Treron calvus orientalis - South-Tanzania to Mozambique and lower Zambezi Valley;
Treron calvus schalowi - South-Congo to South-Zambia;
Treron calvus chobiensis - Southwest-Zimbabwe and North-Botswana;
Treron calvus ansorgei - West-Angola;
Treron calvus vylderi - Northwest-Namibia;
Treron calvus damarensis - Northeast-Namibia and Northwest-Botswana.
