A frog carved out of rock on the Ise coast near the Meoto Iwa (Literally Husband and Wife Rock but better known as the Wedded Rocks).
Frog in Japanese is pronounced Kaeru which also means "return home".
The many frogs along this stretch of the coast is used as a symbol for wishes of safe returns by sea travellers / fishermen etc
