There was an air race here today (www.redbullairrace.com) - aerobatic planes going between and around pylons.
My shots of it are pretty pathetic - couldn't get close enough, and don't have a
good enough zoom lens to compensate for it.

I've never seen the Corniche so crowded, with both vehicles AND people. We eventually
took refuge in a friend's flat, where we could have cold drinks and comfy seats
while the action unfolded!
