Pumpkin Carving 2008

October 25, 2008 - New River Beach
A group of divers got together "just for fun" to carve some pumpkins.. underwater! The weather for the event was perfect, and lots of pumpkins to choose from. Individually and in pairs, the divers went out with dive knives in 10-20ft of water to begin the task. Well, first to get the rather buoyant pumpkin down, then begin the task! The results were frightening, the laughing infectious, and the post-carving BBQ and social lots of fun. A great time, can't wait for the next one!
