Keith Davidson studied at the University of Regina, Alberta College of Art and graduated with honours first in painting and then in photography at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design. His works have been exhibited throughout Canada including Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Montreal and most recently at the Propeller Centre for Contemporary Art in Toronto in the 2005 group show, “Oh Canada” with a piece entitled “The Canadians” (made in partnership with Dennis Duncan). In addition, his works are in private collections in Canada, the United States, Britain and France.
Have & Have-not Series - Is a series of large-scale photographs depicting people in public spaces. The image confronts the viewer with the disparity between the "haves" and the "have-nots" revealing the stark contrast between the two factions.
