January Walk in the Rain

These photos are from a walk out back in the Ponca Wilderness after a series of rain storms. The pictures are of flash flood runoffs and things that interested me along the way. I like taking pictures in rainy weather, they are saturated and very painterly. All of these were taken on January 14, 2007 during a two hour walk.

The pictures are very beautiful. The atmosphere is sad but hopeful. I really enjoyed looking at them.
