This was the first batch of edible mushrooms we found on entering the park. There was a pretty large area of forest floor brightened by lumpy clusters of Aborted Entoloma. We didn't notice any unparasitized forms of this mushroom, but I am sure there were some nearby. To see the unaborted Entoloma abortivum look at the photo in last year's walk to Tallman on 10/05/03.
