A fantastic, hot weekend with the Red Arrows on Sunday and an excellent race, eventually won by a couple of seconds by Juan Pablo Montoya from championship leader Fernando Alonso in second.
Home favourite, Jenson Button, finished in 5th behind both Mclarens and both Renaults, but gave the home crowd plenty to cheer when setting what was at the time the fastest qualifying lap, although pole was later taken by Alonso.
