I love the concept, Beth. Abstracted figures, about to enter an perform. The elegant molding around them is perfect context for their formal wear. We can't see them, but we can already feel their presence. You leave room for the imagination of the viewer here to do the rest. You might want to remove or tone down the confusing lighted area over their heads. If they were coming out of pure darkness into the light, their entrance would be greatly enhanced.
