Is this a female? A few years ago I saw a very blue chicken in a mowed yard by my home on Blue Mountain. It didn't seem frightened so I assumes it was a fancy chicken escaped. I tried to catch it but it stayed just out if reach. Later a neighbor said they cracked up watching me try to catch a blue grouse. But it was much more blue than this.
