THE WRIGHT FLYER
Orville Wright
12 Seconds-120 Feet at 10:30 AM
Four flights were made that morning. The fourth flight, around 12:00 noon, was flown by Wilbur at 59 Seconds and 852 Feet...
After a break for lunch, a gust of wind picked up the parked Flyer and destroyed it... That ended all flights for the year...
The pieces of the Flyer were packed in a crate and shipped back to Dayton, Ohio, where it was later reassembled. It was never flown again.
