I found this lizard in my lawn as I was mowing it. The little critter is lucky to be alive! It was probably in shock when I found it, which accounts for the fact that it was docile. I set it down in the bushes; in a little while, it scampered away.

What a beauty. Thankfully you are not a crittophobe or whatever they call those folks. Shock? And still take a well focussed shot? Did you also get one without the hand? It gives it a great sense of scale but is not really a natural background for this lucky critter.
