These are Ring Necked Parakeets - all descendants of escaped birds of course. Sizeable populations in various parts of London, especially to the west. They haven't spread too far out, but there are small groups elsewhere too.

Amazing how they can survive the freezing cold!
We had them in Holland as well,and their population was growing explosive.
Great to see them so far up north don't you think?
